Caregiver for Elderly in Mombasa, Kenya

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team in Mombasa, Kenya. As a Caregiver, you will provide essential support and assistance to elderly individuals, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping. You will also provide emotional support and companionship to your clients.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a caregiver for elderly individuals
- Certificate or diploma in caregiving or related field preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Physically able to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods of time
- Must be willing to undergo a background check

Responsibilities:
- Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements
- Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including laundry and tidying up living spaces
- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversations with clients
- Accompany clients on walks or outings
- Monitor clients' health status and report any changes or concerns
- Maintain accurate records of care provided

Salary:
We are offering a competitive salary of 1700$ per month for this position.
