Concierge Coordinator (Mombasa, Kenya)
We are hiring a Concierge Coordinator to join our team in Mombasa, Kenya. As a Concierge Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests and ensuring their needs are met during their stay. You will be the main point of contact for all guest inquiries and requests, and will work closely with other departments to ensure a seamless experience for our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner upon arrival and assist with check-in procedures
- Provide personalized recommendations and assistance with reservations for local attractions, restaurants, transportation, etc.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints promptly and efficiently, following up as needed
- Coordinate special requests such as room upgrades, amenities, or special occasions
- Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure guest requests are fulfilled in a timely manner
- Maintain a clean and organized concierge desk area
- Keep up-to-date with knowledge of local events, activities, and services to enhance guest experience
- Assist with any urgent tasks or issues that may arise during the shift
Requirements:
- A positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Previous customer service experience preferred but not required
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with the Mombasa area is an asset
- Fluent in English (knowledge of additional languages is a plus)
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
