Seasonal Light Driver

We are seeking a capable and experienced Light Driver to join our team in Eldoret, Kenya on a seasonal basis. As a Light Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating our company vehicles to transport goods and materials to various locations within the city.

Responsibilities:
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods and materials
- Follow traffic laws and maintain safe driving practices at all times
- Plan the most efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries
- Load and unload goods as needed
- Perform basic maintenance checks on vehicles and report any issues or malfunctions immediately
- Keep accurate records of driving activity, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times

Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Light Driver
- Knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in delivery or transportation industry
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance

Salary:
This is a seasonal job with a salary of $1000 per month. Accommodation will be provided for the duration of the job.
