Restaurant Manager


As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant in Eldoret. Your main duties will include managing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining financial records, and creating and implementing strategies to increase profitability.

To be successful in this role, you must have at least 3 years of experience in restaurant management and hold a valid biometric passport. You must also have strong leadership skills and be able to effectively communicate with both staff and customers.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Recruiting, training, and managing a team of restaurant staff
- Ensuring that all staff adhere to company policies and procedures
- Maintaining high levels of customer service by responding to feedback and resolving any issues
- Overseeing inventory management and ordering supplies as needed
- Creating schedules for staff to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours
- Monitoring financial records and creating reports for upper management
- Developing strategies to increase sales and improve profitability
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
- Handling any customer complaints or concerns in a timely manner

Requirements:

- Minimum of 3 years experience in restaurant management
- Valid biometric passport
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of inventory management techniques
- Familiarity with financial record keeping
- Understanding of health and safety regulations
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

This is a full-time position with a salary of $1000 per month. Please note that this position does not include accommodation.
