Instrument Technician
We are seeking an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Eldoret. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of instruments and control systems used in industrial settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install new instruments and control systems according to technical specifications and safety standards.
- Perform routine maintenance on instruments and control systems to ensure optimal functioning.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with instruments and control systems, making necessary repairs or replacements.
- Calibrate instruments as needed to ensure accurate readings.
- Keep detailed records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
- Collaborate with engineers and other technicians on projects requiring instrument installations or repairs.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in instrumentation technology.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an Instrument Technician.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, instrumentation, and control systems.
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills.
- Good physical stamina and ability to work in confined spaces or at heights if necessary.
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1200$ per month for this position.
