Construction Site Manager
A construction company in Eldoret is seeking a skilled and dedicated Construction Site Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent project management abilities, and a keen eye for detail. This position offers a competitive salary of 1500$ per month, along with free accommodation, visa, and ticket.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate all activities on construction sites
- Oversee the work of contractors, subcontractors, and laborers
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
- Monitor progress and quality of work to ensure timely completion
- Manage project budget and expenses
- Communicate with clients, stakeholders, and team members to provide regular updates on project status
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction
- Conduct site inspections to ensure work is being done according to specifications
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field (preferred)
- Prior experience in a similar role (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, materials, and equipment
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and manage a team
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and team members
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
