Welder (Contract)


A reputable construction company in Eldoret is seeking a skilled Welder to join our team on a contract basis. As the Welder, you will be responsible for performing welding duties in accordance with company standards and safety regulations. Responsibilities:
- Interpret blueprints and specifications to determine welding requirements
- Set up and operate welding equipment, including MIG, TIG, and ARC welders
- Perform various types of welding techniques such as gas metal arc welding (GMAW), gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), and shielded metal arc welding (SMAW)
- Inspect materials and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
- Maintain clean and safe work environment by following company safety policies

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Welder or similar role
- Knowledge of different welding techniques and equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures related to welding
- Good physical strength, hand-eye coordination, and attention to detail
- Own visa or ability to obtain proper work authorization

Salary:
We are offering a competitive salary of $1500 per month for this contract position.

Location:
This job is located in Eldoret, Kenya. While we prefer local candidates, we are open to considering candidates from other countries who have their own visa or can obtain proper work authorization.
