Surveyor Assistant


We are in need of a motivated and detail-oriented Surveyor Assistant to join our team in Eldoret. As a Surveyor Assistant, you will work closely with our surveying team to assist in conducting land surveys and collecting data using various tools and equipment. This is a full-time position with accommodation provided, making it an ideal opportunity for students looking to gain practical experience in the field.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the surveying team in conducting field surveys and collecting data
- Operate surveying equipment such as total stations, GPS receivers, and laser levels
- Measure distances, angles, and elevations using precise techniques
- Record data accurately and maintain organized records
- Assist in marking boundaries and laying out construction sites
- Help with the maintenance and calibration of surveying equipment
- Follow safety protocols at all times while working on site

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- Previous experience as a surveying assistant or similar role is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with surveying tools and techniques is a plus
- Ability to work outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions
- Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1500$ per month, along with accommodation provided for the duration of employment.

Biometric Passport:
Candidates must possess a valid biometric passport as this job may require travel within the country for projects.

Location:
This position is based in Eldoret, but occasional travel may be required for projects in other areas.
