Junior Merchandiser


The Junior Merchandiser will be responsible for assisting in the planning, coordination, and execution of merchandising strategies for our company in Eldoret. This position is suitable for men and does not require previous experience or provide accommodation. The successful candidate will work closely with the merchandising team to ensure that our products are effectively displayed and promoted in stores to drive sales.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and implementing merchandising plans for various product lines
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create eye-catching displays and promotions that drive customer engagement
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate with suppliers to ensure timely restocking of products
- Conduct regular store visits to assess product placement, pricing, and overall presentation
- Analyze sales data and provide recommendations for optimizing product assortment based on customer demand
- Assist in organizing new product launches by coordinating with cross-functional teams such as production, sales, and logistics

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree in business or related field is a plus
- Proven experience in a retail or merchandising role is preferred but not required
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite; familiarity with merchandising software is a plus

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1600 per month.

Location:
This role is based in Eldoret, but occasional travel within Kenya may be required.
