Milling Machine Operator


We are in need of a skilled Milling Machine Operator to join our team in Eldoret. As a Milling Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating the milling machine to produce high-quality products. Your main duties will include adjusting machine settings, monitoring the production process, and inspecting finished products for quality assurance.

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating milling machines in a manufacturing setting
- Understanding of machine operation and basic maintenance
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Attention to detail and quality control skills
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate milling machines according to specifications provided by technical drawings or instructions
- Adjust machine settings such as speed, depth, and feed rates as needed for each job
- Monitor the production process to ensure smooth operation and detect any malfunctions or defects
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance before packaging or shipment
- Troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the production process
- Perform routine maintenance on machines as needed, including cleaning and lubricating parts
- Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations to ensure a safe working environment
