We are seeking a talented and passionate Junior Executive Chef to join our team in Malindi, Kenya. Responsibilities:
- Assist the Executive Chef in daily kitchen operations, including meal preparation, inventory management, and maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to develop new menu items and ensure consistency in all dishes.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and organized kitchen.
- Assist with ordering supplies and monitoring food costs to stay within budget.
- Provide guidance and support to other kitchen staff, including training on proper cooking techniques.
Requirements:
- Passion for cooking and eagerness to learn from experienced chefs.
- Culinary degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
