Senior Librarian


As a Senior Librarian in Malindi, you will play a crucial role in curating and managing our library's extensive collection of resources. With a salary of $1200 per month and accommodation provided, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced librarian to join our team.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the organization and maintenance of the library collection, including books, journals, electronic resources, and multimedia materials.
- Develop and implement policies for the acquisition, cataloging, and circulation of library materials.

- Collaborate with other librarians to develop and teach information literacy classes.
- Supervise library staff and student workers.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Library Science or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience working in a library setting.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Familiarity with academic research methods.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in an academic library.
