Carpenter

We are currently seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team in Malindi, Kenya on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in carpentry and must be physically fit and able to work with various tools and materials. This position is suitable for men who have a passion for woodworking and possess strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
- Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, fiberglass or drywall materials according to specifications
- Install structures such as windows, frames, floorings, trimmings, and cabinets
- Repair or replace damaged or defective parts using hand or power tools
- Inspect and maintain tools and equipment used for carpentry work
- Follow safety procedures and regulations while working on construction sites

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in carpentry or related field
- Proficient in working with various tools such as saws, drills, sanders etc.
- Ability to read blueprints and follow technical drawings
- Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy materials and work in different weather conditions
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills

Salary:
The salary for this position is $900 per month.

This position is based in Malindi, Kenya.

Contract:
This is a contract job with the possibility of extension based on performance.
