Experienced Barber

We are in need of an experienced Barber to join our team in the bustling city of Malindi, known for its beautiful beaches and vibrant culture. As a Barber, you will be responsible for providing high-quality haircuts and grooming services to our diverse clientele. Our ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing their skills and techniques.

Responsibilities:
- Greet clients and consult with them on their desired hairstyle or grooming service
- Provide haircuts, styling, shaving, and other grooming services according to client preferences
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work station and equipment
- Keep up-to-date with current trends and techniques in the industry
- Upsell additional services or products to clients when appropriate
- Maintain positive relationships with clients by providing excellent customer service
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of services performed

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Barber in a professional setting
- Strong portfolio showcasing your skills and techniques
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds
- Knowledge of current hairstyles, trends, and techniques
- Ability to perform basic maintenance on tools and equipment
- Must be able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Must be willing to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
