Entry-Level Blast Furnace Operator

Our steel manufacturing company in Malindi is seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Blast Furnace Operator. In this role, you will work under the supervision of experienced operators to learn the processes and techniques involved in operating a blast furnace. Responsibilities:
- Assist senior operators in setting up and preparing the blast furnace for production
- Monitor equipment and temperature levels to ensure efficient operation of the furnace
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning and lubricating machinery
- Troubleshoot and resolve any minor issues that may arise during production
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting is preferred but not required
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including standing for long periods of time and lifting heavy objects
- Willingness to learn and take direction from senior operators
- Basic mechanical aptitude and understanding of machinery

Salary: $900 per month
