Turner - Metal Machining Specialist



As a Turner - Metal Machining Specialist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various metal machining equipment in our workshop in Malindi. Your main objective will be to produce high-quality metal components and parts according to specifications, using your expertise in turning techniques.

Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain various metal machining equipment such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine the required specifications for each component or part
- Select appropriate tools and materials for each project, considering factors such as hardness, shape, and size of the metal
- Set up and adjust machine settings to ensure accuracy and precision in the machining process
- Monitor the production process to detect any defects or malfunctions, making adjustments as needed
- Measure finished products with precision tools to ensure they meet required specifications
- Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Turner or Metal Machining Specialist
- Proficient in reading technical drawings and blueprints
- In-depth knowledge of turning techniques and different types of metalworking machinery
- Ability to work with precision tools and measuring instruments
- Physical strength and dexterity to operate heavy machinery
- Attention to detail and a results-driven mindset
- Good communication skills

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1200$ per month.

Location:
This job is located in Malindi. We welcome candidates from all nationalities but preference will be given to Kenyan residents.
