Crane Operator

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Crane Operator to join our team in Nakuru. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of cranes on construction sites, industrial facilities, and other locations as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate various types of cranes to lift, move, and position heavy materials and equipment
- Inspect and maintain crane equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures while operating the crane
- Communicate with other team members to coordinate lifts and ensure safe working conditions
- Keep accurate record of crane operations, including load weights, distances moved, and any incidents or issues that occur
- Troubleshoot any mechanical issues with the crane and report any necessary repairs or maintenance needs
- Adhere to all company policies and regulations regarding crane operation

Requirements:
- Valid certification as a Crane Operator
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating cranes in a construction or industrial setting
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to crane operation
- Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions for lifts
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with team members on the ground
- Physical strength and stamina to work in all weather conditions and lift heavy loads as needed

Preferred:
- Experience with multiple types of cranes such as mobile, tower, or overhead cranes
- Familiarity with different types of rigging equipment and techniques
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed for project deadlines

Salary: $1100 per month (part-time)

Location: Nakuru (accommodation provided)
