We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented Barista to join our team at a popular coffee shop in Mombasa. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. This is an ideal job for students looking to gain experience in the hospitality industry while earning a competitive salary of 1200$.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers with a warm and welcoming attitude
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages according to established recipes
- Maintain cleanliness of work area, including equipment, utensils, and counters
- Handle cash transactions using POS system
- Upsell additional products to customers
- Provide excellent customer service by anticipating needs and resolving any issues that may arise

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a barista or in the food service industry preferred but not required
- Knowledge of different types of coffee beans, brewing methods, and latte art is a plus
- Excellent communication skills in English (Swahili is also desirable)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 30 pounds
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
