Entry-Level Foundry Operator

As a foundry operator, you will work with molten metal to create castings for various industries. No prior experience is required for this role as we are willing to train the right candidate.

Responsibilities:
- Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
- Assist with the preparation of molds and patterns for casting
- Monitor and control the temperature and flow of molten metal in the furnace
- Pour molten metal into molds according to specific instructions
- Remove castings from molds once they have cooled down
- Inspect castings for any defects and make necessary repairs or adjustments
- Operate various machinery and equipment used in the casting process
- Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education required
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Ability to work in a hot and physically demanding environment
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions closely
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
- Valid work permit or eligibility to work in Kenya without sponsorship
