We are hiring a skilled Foundryman to join our team in Mombasa, Kenya. As a Foundryman, you will be responsible for the production of metal castings through the use of furnaces, molds, and other tools and equipment. Your primary duties will include melting and pouring metal into molds, monitoring and adjusting furnace temperature and pressure, removing finished castings from molds, and performing quality checks on castings.

To excel in this role, you should have a strong understanding of metallurgy and casting techniques. You must also be physically fit as the job requires lifting heavy objects and standing for long periods. Experience in operating foundry machinery is preferred.

Responsibilities:
- Operate furnaces to melt metals to the desired temperature
- Pour molten metal into molds according to specifications
- Monitor furnace temperature and pressure levels
- Adjust furnace controls to maintain proper temperature and pressure
- Remove finished castings from molds using hand tools or machines
- Inspect finished castings for defects such as cracks or air bubbles
- Grind or sand rough edges of castings using hand or power tools
- Clean and maintain foundry equipment including furnaces, molds, and tools

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Foundryman or similar role
- Knowledge of casting techniques and metallurgy principles
- Ability to read technical drawings/blueprints
- Physical strength and stamina to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods
- Experience operating foundry machinery is a plus
- Excellent hand-eye coordination with attention to detail
