Power Engineer



We are offering a great opportunity for a skilled Power Engineer to join our team in Eldoret, Kenya. As a power engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining power generation systems and equipment. You will work closely with other engineers and technicians to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our power systems.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain power generation systems, including generators, transformers, switchgear, and distribution networks
- Conduct feasibility studies and provide technical advice on new projects
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with power systems
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards
- Monitor energy consumption and make recommendations for energy efficiency improvements
- Prepare reports on system performance and maintenance activities
- Train and supervise technicians in the operation of power systems

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a power engineer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of electrical principles, codes, and standards
- Experience with design software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Salary: $1000 per month (negotiable based on experience)
