Head Pastry Chef - Moscow, Russia


We are seeking a talented and experienced Head Pastry Chef to join our team at our upscale restaurant in Moscow, Russia. As the Head Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and executing unique and delicious dessert menus while managing a team of pastry chefs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop creative and innovative dessert menus that reflect current trends and seasonality
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the pastry department, including ordering ingredients, managing inventory, and maintaining food safety standards
- Train and mentor pastry chefs to ensure consistency and high-quality desserts
- Work closely with the executive chef to develop new menu items that complement the overall concept of the restaurant
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth running of operations and guest satisfaction
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Pastry Chef or similar role in a high-end restaurant or hotel setting
- Strong knowledge of different types of desserts, techniques, ingredients, and flavors
- Ability to create visually appealing desserts that are also delicious
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- A passion for culinary excellence and continuous learning

Qualifications:
- Degree or diploma in Culinary Arts or relevant field preferred
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a pastry chef
- Fluent in English (Russian is an asset)
- Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1600$ per month along with opportunities for growth within our company.
