Seasonal Executive Chef
Location: St. Petersburg, Russia
Salary: $1400/month
Our luxury hotel in St. Petersburg is seeking a talented and passionate Executive Chef to join our team for a seasonal position. This is the perfect opportunity for recent graduates looking to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced and high-end environment.
As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for leading our culinary team and creating exceptional dining experiences for our guests. You must have a strong background in fine dining and be able to create innovative and delicious menus using local, seasonal ingredients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations including menu planning, food preparation, and staff management
- Ensure high-quality standards are met in all dishes served
- Train and mentor junior chefs and kitchen staff
- Create new menu items and update existing ones to reflect current food trends and seasonal ingredients
- Control food costs by monitoring inventory levels and minimizing waste
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen at all times
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Executive Chef or Sous Chef in a fine dining establishment is preferred but not required
- Culinary degree or diploma from an accredited institution is preferred but not required
- Passion for creating exceptional dishes using fresh, seasonal ingredients
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team to produce high-quality work under pressure
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Knowledge of Russian cuisine is an asset but not required
