Preservation Architect
We are currently hiring a Preservation Architect to join our team in Izhevsk, Russia. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving the historic integrity of buildings and structures while also ensuring their functionality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of historic buildings and structures to determine preservation needs
- Develop plans and strategies for preserving and restoring historical elements of buildings
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure preservation work is done correctly
- Monitor the progress of preservation projects and make necessary adjustments as needed
- Conduct research on historical construction techniques, materials, and technologies
- Prepare detailed reports on the condition of historic structures and provide recommendations for preservation efforts
- Obtain necessary permits and approvals from local authorities for preservation work
- Stay up-to-date on current preservation techniques, regulations, and policies
Requirements:
- Degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in historic preservation or restoration projects
- Strong knowledge of architectural history and styles
- Excellent understanding of building codes, standards, and regulations related to historic structures
- Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Strong project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and manage budgets effectively
- Excellent communication skills in both Russian and English
Salary:
The salary for this position is 1100$ per month with accommodation provided. This position is suitable for men.
