Typesetter

We are seeking a skilled Typesetter to join our publishing team in Izhevsk. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for formatting and layout of text and images for printed materials such as books, magazines, and advertisements. Your main goal will be to ensure that all text is visually appealing and easy to read for the intended audience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Format text and images using typesetting software
- Collaborate with editors, designers, and printers to determine layout and design
- Check for accuracy in spelling, grammar, and punctuation
- Ensure consistency in font styles, sizes, and spacing
- Make adjustments to layout based on design or client feedback
- Prepare files for printing or digital distribution

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Typesetter or similar role
- Proficient in typesetting software such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress
- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Knowledge of typography principles and design elements
- Creativity in finding solutions for layout challenges
