Information Technology Manager vacancy in Remish Luxembourg

IT Manager


We are hiring an experienced IT Manager to oversee the information technology operations of our company located in Remish. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing and implementing IT systems, as well as a deep understanding of network and server infrastructure. This role requires excellent leadership skills, as you will be responsible for managing a team of IT professionals and working closely with other departments to ensure the smooth operation of our company's technology.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure the security and efficiency of our technology systems
- Manage and maintain network infrastructure, including servers, routers, switches, firewalls, etc.
- Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software systems
- Ensure timely resolution of technical issues and provide support to end-users
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any issues that may arise
- Develop disaster recovery plans to minimize downtime in case of system failures
- Collaborate with other departments to identify technology needs and implement solutions that support business objectives
- Manage a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- At least 5 years of experience in IT management roles
- Extensive knowledge of network infrastructure technologies (e.g. LAN/WAN, VPNs)
- Proficiency in server administration (Windows/Linux), virtualization technologies (e.g. VMware), and cloud services (e.g. AWS/Azure)
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical individuals
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively

Salary: $1000 per month without accommodation. This position is open to all genders.
