Indian Chef in Medina, Saudi Arabia



We are seeking an experienced Indian Chef to join our team in Medina, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating authentic Indian cuisine and a strong understanding of traditional cooking techniques. As our Indian Chef, you will be responsible for planning and preparing high-quality meals for our restaurant, ensuring that all dishes are cooked to perfection and presented beautifully. You must have a good knowledge of Indian spices and ingredients, as well as the ability to lead and motivate kitchen staff. In addition to cooking, you will also be responsible for managing inventory, controlling costs, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen. Responsibilities:
- Plan and prepare authentic Indian dishes according to menu specifications
- Ensure that all dishes are cooked to perfection and presented beautifully
- Train and supervise kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques
- Create new menu items based on seasonal ingredients and customer feedback
- Manage inventory levels and order necessary supplies
- Monitor food costs and maintain budgetary requirements
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations at all times
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen at all times

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as an Indian Chef in a reputable restaurant or hotel
- Extensive knowledge of Indian spices, ingredients, and traditional cooking techniques
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage kitchen staff effectively
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage inventory levels and control costs
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Must be able to obtain necessary work permits for Saudi Arabia

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1700$ per month.
