Responsibilities:
- Contact individuals and businesses via phone, email, or mail to collect overdue payments
- Negotiate payment plans and deadlines with debtors
- Update account information and payment status in our database
- Handle disputes or complaints from debtors professionally and efficiently
- Follow up on payment arrangements and monitor payment schedules
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any billing or payment issues
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all collection activities

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree is a plus
- Proven experience as a collector or similar role
- Familiarity with collection laws and regulations is preferred
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and meet targets consistently
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
