Executive Chef



As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the culinary operations of our hotel in Albena. Your main objective will be to provide high-quality food and dining experiences for our guests. You will work closely with our kitchen staff to develop creative menus and ensure that all dishes are prepared in a timely and efficient manner.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the kitchen, including menu planning, budgeting, and inventory management
- Train and manage a team of kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food quality and service
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen
- Develop new dishes and menus that are in line with current trends and guest preferences
- Monitor food costs and make adjustments as needed to maintain profitability
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked kitchen at all times
- Collaborate with other departments to plan special events or promotions that involve food service
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate new techniques or ingredients into menu offerings
- Foster a positive work environment where creativity, teamwork, and open communication are encouraged

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a hotel or restaurant setting
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, ingredients, and menu planning
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Good understanding of budgeting, cost control, and inventory management principles
- Up-to-date knowledge of health and safety regulations in the hospitality industry
- Creative thinking skills with the ability to develop unique dishes that will appeal to our guests
- Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with staff from different departments

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1000 per month for this contract position. In addition, we provide accommodation for our employees.

Location:
This position is based in Albena, a beautiful seaside resort town in Bulgaria. We welcome candidates of all nationalities to apply, but proficiency in English is required.
