Android Developer


As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of applications aimed at a vast number of diverse Android devices. Your primary focus will be the development of mobile applications and their integration with back-end services. You will work alongside other developers, designers and project managers to ensure high-quality, efficient and maintainable code. Your role will also include collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. You should have a passion for pushing mobile technologies to the limits and have experience building complex Android applications.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Android Developer or similar role
- Proficient in Java, Kotlin, or other programming languages
- In-depth knowledge of the Android SDK and application components such as activities, fragments, services, content providers, etc.
- Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
- Familiarity with unit testing frameworks such as JUnit or Espresso
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred

Responsibilities:
- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
- Ensure code quality through unit testing and code reviews
- Participate in Agile development process including daily stand-ups, sprint planning meetings, retrospectives etc.

Location: Remish (or remote)
Salary: $1400 per month without accommodation (negotiable based on experience)
