Librarian

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Librarian to join our team at a prestigious library in Medina. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing the library's collection, assisting patrons with research and information requests, and maintaining the overall organization and functionality of the library.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the acquisition, cataloging, and circulation of library materials
- Develop and implement library policies and procedures
- Assist patrons with research inquiries and information requests
- Maintain the library's online catalog and databases
- Plan and coordinate events, programs, and workshops for library users
- Train and supervise support staff and volunteers
- Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in library services

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience working in a library setting
- Strong organizational skills with an attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of Arabic is a plus)
- Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team
- Knowledge of standard library systems, including cataloging software, online databases, etc.
- Flexibility to work evenings or weekends as needed
