Executive Chef - Bayan, Pakistan
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at a prestigious restaurant in the bustling city of Bayan, Pakistan. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the culinary operations of our establishment and ensuring exceptional food quality and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and create new menus that align with current food trends and customer preferences
- Train and manage kitchen staff, including sous chefs, line cooks, and prep cooks
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain efficient kitchen operations
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, plating, and presentation to ensure consistency and quality
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment in accordance with health codes and sanitation standards
- Collaborate with restaurant management to develop strategies for increasing profitability while maintaining high food standards
- Create schedules for kitchen staff to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours
- Conduct regular performance evaluations for kitchen staff and provide feedback for improvement
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a fine dining establishment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- In-depth knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Familiarity with current food trends and ability to create innovative dishes while also maintaining classic favorites on the menu
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
- Strong communication skills with fluency in English (both written and verbal)
- Must be willing to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef or similar role
- Must have experience managing a team of at least 10 kitchen staff members
Salary:
The salary for this position is $1600 per month, with potential for growth and bonuses based on performance.
Contract Job:
This is a contract job with a duration of 1 year, with the possibility of extension based on performance.
