Mason - Construction Worker


As a Mason in our construction team, you will be responsible for building and repairing a variety of structures using bricks, concrete blocks, and other materials. Your main goal will be to ensure that all projects are completed efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lay bricks and stones according to blueprints or specifications, using a variety of tools such as trowels, hammers, levels, and chisels
- Mix mortar or grout and spread it onto surfaces using a trowel
- Align structures vertically and horizontally, using plumb bobs, levels, and string lines
- Cut or shape bricks and stones to fit around obstacles or for decorative purposes
- Repair existing structures by replacing damaged bricks or stones
- Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times
- Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations at all times

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a mason in the construction industry
- Knowledge of different types of bricklaying techniques and materials
- Ability to read blueprints and follow specifications
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical dexterity
- Strong attention to detail to ensure precise workmanship
- Good communication skills to work effectively with team members
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
