Job Title: Foundryman Assistant


As a Foundryman Assistant, you will assist in the production and maintenance of metal castings. Your responsibilities will include preparing molds, pouring molten metal, and removing finished castings from molds. You will also be responsible for maintaining equipment and tools used in the foundry.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of molds by measuring and cutting sand, clay, and other materials
- Pour molten metal into prepared molds according to specifications
- Remove finished castings from molds and clean them using various tools and methods such as sandblasting or grinding
- Inspect castings for defects and make necessary repairs or adjustments
- Maintain foundry equipment by performing regular maintenance and repairs
- Keep work areas clean and organized to ensure safety and efficiency
- Assist in other tasks related to the production of metal castings as needed

Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a foundry or with metal casting is preferred
- Knowledge of different types of metals used in casting processes
- Familiarity with foundry equipment such as furnaces, crucibles, ladles, etc.
- Ability to read blueprints or technical drawings
- Physical strength and stamina to handle heavy objects and work in a hot environment
- Attention to detail to ensure quality of finished products
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Willingness to learn new techniques and processes

Salary:
The starting salary for this position is 1600 USD per month.

This position is based in Zagreb, Croatia.
