Blast Furnace Operator


As a Blast Furnace Operator in Pula, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring blast furnace equipment to produce iron or steel. You will work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment, ensuring that production targets are met while maintaining strict safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor blast furnace equipment, including charging, tapping, and slagging operations.
- Monitor temperature and gas levels to ensure efficient and safe operation of the furnace.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Troubleshoot issues that may arise during production.
- Follow all safety protocols and report any safety hazards or incidents.
- Keep accurate records of production data and equipment maintenance.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Physical ability to work in a hot, noisy, and physically demanding environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet production targets.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Biometric passport for international travel (if applicable).
