Russian Language Tutor


We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Russian Language Tutor to join our team in St. Petersburg. As a tutor, you will be responsible for providing personalized lessons to students of various levels and backgrounds, including women, to help them develop their Russian language skills. Your main goal will be to create an engaging and supportive learning environment that promotes language acquisition and cultural understanding.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver individualized lessons based on students' goals, needs, and proficiency level
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods and materials to enhance the learning experience
- Provide constructive feedback and monitor progress of each student
- Create lesson plans that incorporate cultural elements to increase students' understanding of the language
- Encourage students to actively participate in class discussions and activities
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and evaluations
- Collaborate with other tutors or language professionals to share ideas and best practices

Requirements:
- Native or near-native proficiency in Russian language
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Russian language, linguistics, education or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience teaching Russian as a second/foreign language to adults or children from diverse backgrounds
- Knowledge of effective teaching techniques and strategies for different learning styles
- Excellent communication skills and ability to adapt teaching approach according to students' needs
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Salary: $1800 per month (based on 20 hours per week)
Employment Type: Contract (without accommodation)
Nationality/Citizenship: Open for all nationalities (biometric passport required)
