Mining Technician

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Mining Technician to join our team in Split, Croatia. As a Mining Technician, you will be responsible for assisting with the extraction of minerals and resources from the earth. This is a contract position that offers a competitive salary of 1200$ per month and includes accommodation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain mining equipment, including drills, loaders, and trucks
- Assist with the extraction of minerals through drilling, blasting, and other methods
- Monitor production levels and adjust techniques as needed to maximize efficiency
- Conduct safety inspections and adhere to all safety protocols
- Maintain accurate records of production and equipment maintenance
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience in mining operations
- Knowledge of mining equipment operation and maintenance procedures
- Familiarity with safety regulations in mining industry
- Ability to work in physically demanding conditions, including working underground or in extreme weather conditions

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience operating specific types of mining equipment (drills, loaders, etc.)
- Familiarity with geological survey techniques and analysis
- Experience with explosives handling
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well within a team

This position is suitable for men who are physically fit and able to handle the demands of working in a mine. The successful candidate must also be able to work on a contract basis for the duration of the project.
