Logistics Coordinator - Indian National, Sharjah

As a logistics coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the transportation of goods and materials from suppliers to our company's facilities in Sharjah. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. You will work closely with suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of goods while maintaining cost-effectiveness. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1500$ per month.

Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the shipment of goods and materials from suppliers to our company's facilities in Sharjah
- Communicate with suppliers and freight forwarders to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Monitor shipment schedules and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery
- Manage import/export documentation and customs clearance processes
- Work closely with internal teams to forecast demand and plan for inventory needs
- Negotiate rates with shipping companies and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations related to transportation of goods

Requirements:
- Must be an Indian national currently residing in Sharjah
- Fluent in English both written and spoken
- Minimum of 2 years experience in logistics coordination or related field
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of import/export regulations and customs clearance processes is preferred
