Librarian

We are currently hiring a qualified and experienced Librarian to join our team in El-Ain, UAE. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for organizing and managing our library's collection of books, periodicals, audio-visual materials, and digital resources. Your main duties will include cataloging and classifying materials, assisting patrons with research inquiries, and providing reference services.

Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience working as a librarian
- Strong knowledge of library classification systems and cataloging procedures
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Proficient in English (both written and spoken)
- Indian nationality preferred

Responsibilities:
- Organize and maintain the library's collection of materials
- Develop and implement library policies
- Catalog new acquisitions using appropriate classification systems
- Assist patrons with research inquiries
- Provide reference services to students, faculty members, and other library users
- Promote the use of library resources through outreach activities
- Manage circulation operations including issuing/renewing books, collecting fines, etc.
- Keep track of budget allocations for purchasing new materials
