We are hiring a skilled Turner to join our team in Pula, Croatia on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating and maintaining lathes, milling machines, and other machine tools to shape metal parts according to specifications. This role is suitable for men who are interested in the field of metalworking.

Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain various machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, drill presses, and grinders.
- Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to determine required materials and specifications.
- Set up and adjust machine tools to produce parts within specified tolerances.
- Monitor machine operation to ensure accuracy and quality of finished product.
- Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers to verify dimensions of finished parts.
- Troubleshoot issues with machines and perform routine maintenance as needed.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while operating machinery.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining preferred.
- Previous experience working as a Turner or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of various machining processes and familiarity with different types of metals.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and interpret technical specifications.
- Proficient in using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, etc.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify issues with machinery quickly.
- Excellent manual dexterity and physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting heavy objects, etc.

Benefits:
This position offers a salary of 1300$ per month. Accommodation will be provided for the duration of the contract. We also welcome foreign candidates who have their own valid visa for working in Croatia.
