Our company is a leading steel production company located in Split, Croatia. We are currently seeking a skilled Blast Furnace Operator to join our team on a contract basis. As a Blast Furnace Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining blast furnaces to produce molten metal and slag.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and control the blast furnace according to production schedules
- Monitor and adjust furnace temperature, pressure, and chemical composition
- Load raw materials into the furnace using heavy equipment such as cranes
- Monitor furnace operations to ensure efficient production and quality control
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during operation
- Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and report any malfunctions or repairs needed
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training in metallurgy preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience working in a blast furnace operation role
- Strong understanding of metallurgical processes and equipment used in blast furnace operations
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including lifting heavy materials and standing for long periods of time
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1000 per month.

Location:
This is a contract position located in Split, Croatia. The successful candidate must be willing to work on-site without accommodations provided.
