Part-Time Blast Furnace Worker

We are seeking a part-time Blast Furnace Worker to join our team in Split, Croatia. As a blast furnace worker, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining blast furnaces used in the production of iron and steel. This is a physically demanding job that requires working in hot and noisy environments.

Key responsibilities:

- Operating controls to regulate air, gas, and temperature levels in the furnace
- Loading raw materials into the furnace using various tools such as shovels and wheelbarrows
- Monitoring equipment and making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal performance
- Removing impurities from molten metal using skimmers or other tools
- Maintaining cleanliness of work area and equipment

Requirements:

- Minimum of 2 years experience working in a blast furnace or similar environment
- Physically fit and able to work in hot and noisy conditions for extended periods of time
- Ability to follow safety protocols and use protective gear as required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Flexibility to work part-time hours as needed

Salary: $1200 per month (based on part-time hours)
