Blast Furnace Operator

As a Blast Furnace Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining blast furnace equipment to produce molten iron for the production of steel. Your duties will include monitoring and adjusting furnace temperatures, controlling the flow of materials, and conducting quality checks on the molten iron. This role requires experience in blast furnace operations and a strong understanding of safety protocols. The ideal candidate should be physically fit and able to work in a hot and potentially hazardous environment. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1300 per month in the city of Split. Accommodation will be provided for the successful candidate.

Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor blast furnace equipment to produce molten iron
- Adjust furnace temperatures as needed
- Control the flow of materials into the furnace
- Conduct quality checks on molten iron
- Follow safety protocols at all times
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise during production

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in blast furnace operations
- Strong understanding of safety protocols in an industrial setting
- Physically fit and able to work in a hot environment
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions
- Good communication skills in English (knowledge of Croatian language is a plus)

Education:
High school diploma or equivalent (technical or vocational training is preferred)

Working Conditions:
This is a full-time job that requires working rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. The job may also require standing for long periods, climbing ladders/stairs, and lifting heavy objects.
