Merchandiser Supervisor



As a Merchandiser Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the merchandising process for our retail store in Ajman. Your main role will be to ensure that all products are displayed in an attractive and organized manner, maximizing sales and customer satisfaction. This position requires experience in the retail industry, strong leadership skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with team members and management.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement merchandising strategies to increase sales and attract customers
- Train and supervise a team of merchandisers to ensure that all displays are set up correctly and in a timely manner
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with purchasing department to restock popular items
- Communicate with vendors to negotiate pricing and placement of products
- Conduct regular store walkthroughs to assess product placement, signage, and overall presentation
- Analyze sales data to identify trends and adjust merchandising strategies accordingly
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures regarding product placement, pricing, promotions, etc.
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g. marketing, operations) to plan promotional events or seasonal displays

Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Merchandiser or similar role in the retail industry
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team towards achieving goals
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) with the ability to interact effectively with diverse personalities
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Knowledge of current market trends and consumer behavior
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends if required

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1600$ per month.

Location:
This position is located in Ajman. Candidates from India or Africa who meet the requirements are encouraged to apply.

Visa Requirements:
Candidates must hold a valid biometric passport and be able to obtain a work visa for the UAE.
