Part-Time Executive Chef
Location: Muscat, Oman
We are currently seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team on a part-time basis. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our kitchen and ensuring that all culinary creations are of the highest quality.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
- Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and quality standards
- Monitor food stock levels and place orders as needed
- Train kitchen staff on proper food handling techniques and safety procedures
- Create new menu items based on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen at all times
- Work closely with management to develop budgets and control costs
- Ensure compliance with health and sanitation regulations
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role
- Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
- Attention to detail in creating visually appealing dishes
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards
- Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Salary: 1700$ (based on experience)
