Job Title: Executive Chef - Indian Cuisine (Dubai)
We are a luxury restaurant in Dubai, seeking an experienced Executive Chef who specializes in Indian cuisine. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for managing the kitchen operations, creating menus, and overseeing the food preparation. Your culinary skills and creativity will be crucial in maintaining our high standards and satisfying the diverse tastes of our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Create innovative and authentic Indian dishes that meet our customers' expectations
- Plan menus and manage food inventory to ensure freshness and quality
- Train, supervise and motivate kitchen staff to maintain high levels of productivity and hygiene
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and standards
- Oversee all kitchen operations including food preparation, cooking, plating, and presentation
- Develop new recipes to keep up with changing trends in the culinary world
- Collaborate with the management team to develop marketing strategies and promotions for the restaurant
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef in a fine-dining or luxury restaurant setting
- Proven track record of creating exceptional Indian dishes that appeal to a wide range of palates
- Extensive knowledge of Indian spices, ingredients, cooking techniques and regional variations
- Ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining a positive work environment
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with suppliers, staff members, and management team
- Strong understanding of food cost control measures to maximize profitability
Salary: 1800$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Dubai (visa sponsorship provided)
