Job Title: Executive Chef
Location: Hawalli, Kuwait
We are looking for an experienced and talented Executive Chef to join our team in Hawalli, Kuwait. This position is open to candidates of all nationalities and does not require prior experience.
As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and staff management. You will work closely with the restaurant manager to ensure high-quality food and exceptional dining experiences for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and create seasonal menus based on local ingredients and customer preferences
- Ensure timely and accurate food preparation according to recipes and portion sizes
- Train and supervise kitchen staff in proper cooking techniques, food safety standards, and sanitation practices
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Monitor food quality and presentation to maintain high standards
- Collaborate with restaurant manager on budget planning and cost control measures
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-end restaurant setting
- Extensive knowledge of culinary techniques, ingredients, and flavor combinations
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train a team of kitchen staff
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Compensation:
Salary for this position is $1300 per month. Benefits include health insurance, paid vacation time, and opportunities for career growth within the company.
