QA Engineer - Moscow, Russia



As a QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct thorough testing and identify any defects or issues in the software. You will work closely with the development team to understand project requirements and create detailed test plans and cases. Additionally, you will document any bugs or errors found during testing and collaborate with the development team to resolve them.

To excel in this role, you should have a strong understanding of quality assurance principles and methodologies. You must also possess excellent analytical skills and attention to detail to effectively identify and report any errors or defects. A background in software development or programming is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct manual and automated tests on software products
- Create detailed test plans and cases based on project requirements
- Report bugs and errors found during testing
- Collaborate with the development team to resolve issues
- Monitor debugging process results
- Track quality assurance metrics, such as defect density and open defect counts
- Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and strategies

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role
- Experience with manual and automated testing methods
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Experience with SQL databases is a plus
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Good communication skills in English (Russian language proficiency is a plus)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field
