Junior Accountant


We are hiring a Junior Accountant to join our team in Salalah, Oman. As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with the preparation and maintenance of financial records and reports. You will also work closely with our senior accounting team to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting regulations.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing financial statements and reports
- Process invoices, expense reports, and other financial documents
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
- Track and maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable records
- Assist with payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements
- Review and analyze financial data to identify discrepancies or errors
- Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and company policies
- Communicate with clients or vendors regarding billing or payment inquiries

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- 1+ years of experience in a similar role (experience in a junior or intern position is acceptable)
- Knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software (Quickbooks, SAP, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
