Land Surveyor
Location: Salalah, Oman
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Land Surveyor to join our team in Salalah, Oman. As a Land Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting surveys to determine property boundaries and provide accurate measurements for construction projects. You will work closely with engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure that projects are completed efficiently and accurately.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct topographic, boundary, and construction surveys using various tools and equipment such as GPS receivers, total stations, and surveying software.
- Interpret legal documents and maps to determine property boundaries.
- Prepare detailed survey reports and maps for clients.
- Collaborate with engineers and architects to ensure that survey data is accurately incorporated into project designs.
- Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members to coordinate surveying activities.
- Oversee the work of survey technicians and provide guidance when needed.
- Maintain accurate records of surveys including field notes, sketches, photos, and other data.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Land Surveying or related field.
- At least 2 years of experience as a Land Surveyor in a construction or engineering setting.
- Proficient in using surveying tools such as total stations and GPS receivers.
- Strong knowledge of land surveying principles and techniques.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD or other mapping software.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Salary:
